Hi everyone!
We had an awesome first day of first grade. Everyone did a great job listening and following directions. We got right to work, writing about ourselves, reading poetry and books about friends. Some favorite parts of the day, according to the students, were when we put supplies away, when we learned how to sit in the hallway and writing.
Students were sent home with a large envelope with parental homework (all that lovely paperwork!), information about the PTA/volunteering/tshirt ordering (our color is charcoal), and homework for the students (which is due on Friday).
